Buhari Unwell but Stable, Aide Clarifies Health Status

The Digital Media aide to former President Muhammadu Buhari, Bashir Ahmad, has spoken out to clear up rumours about the ex-president’s health. Many reports had claimed that Buhari was very sick and had been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Ahmad made it clear in a statement released on Thursday that these reports are not true.

Ahmad explained that, while it is true that former President Buhari is unwell, he is not in a critical condition. The aide said Buhari is getting medical attention but is stable and responding well to treatment. Ahmad also said the family and team are hopeful for his full recovery.

“It is true that former President Buhari is unwell and is currently receiving medical attention. However, contrary to the exaggerated claims circulating in the media, he is stable and responding well to treatment, and we are optimistic about his full recovery.”

Ahmad also thanked Nigerians and Buhari’s supporters for their prayers and concern. He said the outpouring of support from people in Nigeria and around the world has been very encouraging.

The statement ended by saying that everyone is still praying for Buhari’s quick and complete recovery.
